Special Needs Trusts are set up for a variety of different reasons. The most common reason behind a Special Needs Trust is to help protect the assets of a person with special needs while not affecting their government benefits. Special Needs Trusts can be used when personal injury law suits settle and the injured person receives money, but doesn't want to lose their government benefits. Special Needs Trusts are a great way to protect a person with Special Needs after the parents or caretakers have passed away. This Trust School will focus on what a Special Needs Trust is, how it works, when and why it is necessary, and the benefits. This class will also help people who have Special Needs Trusts in place answer any questions they may have.
